ABOUT ME
Hi, my name is Felicia and i’ve been in childcare for over 8 years now, I’ve had the opportunity to work with children of different ages and developmental stages, which has deepened both my knowledge and passion for early childhood education.
I hold over 100 certifications in childcare, along with my CDA and a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education. My educational background has given me a strong understanding of child development, while my hands-on experience has taught me how to truly connect with children to support their growth, and create meaningful learning experiences. I’ve also been fortunate to learn from experienced professionals in the field who have helped strengthen my teaching practices and leadership skills.
What I love most about being an educator is creating an environment where children feel safe, seen, and excited to learn. I believe every child deserves patience, encouragement, and individualized support. I enjoy finding creative ways to nurture children’s curiosity, social-emotional development, and confidence while helping them build a strong foundation for future success.
Beyond teaching, I value building trusting relationships with families and being part of a child’s early learning journey. I’m always looking for opportunities to grow, take on new challenges, and continue making a positive impact in the lives of children and the communities I serve.
